Tasting - Four Sisters Sauvignon Blanc

Name: Four Sister Sauvignon Blanc 2013
Variety: Sauvignon Blanc/Semillion

Region: Victoria
Country: Australia
Year: 2013
Price: $15

Winery ReviewVibrant passionfruit, gooseberry and lemon citrus flavours shine through on the nose and palate with a fresh, crisp finish. A fantastic match with fresh shellfish, sushi or smoked salmon.

My Review: This wine's aroma was interesting in that it seemed to have two levels of smells. There were two distinct scents that were present at the same time, but they did not necessarily compliment each other. The first smell was heavy and leathery. The second smell was bright and lighter, which contrasted the leather smell. In terms of taste, it was very crisp and acidic. I did not particularly enjoy this wine and I don't see myself wanting to drink this wine again.

I tasted this wine without food.
