Tasting - Barth Rene Pinot Blanc

Name: Barth Rene Pinot Blanc 2012
Variety: Pinot Blanc
Region: Alsace
Country: France
Year: 2012
Price: $20

Winery Review: This is a crisp, fresh Pinot Blanc. It has a light touch of spice, although the wine is really dominated by tight green apples and fragrant acidity. It is ready to drink now.

My Review: This wine has a very crispy smell. It has a definitive taste that is very much like sour apples. It is light but strong. Has a very acidic taste. I did not personally enjoy this wine too much due to the acidity.

I tasted this wine without food.
